Adega Pombal A Lanzada 'Mytilus' Albarino 2023

Adega Pombal A Lanzada 'Mytilus' Albarino 2023

  • TASTING NOTE: "The 2023 Albariño Mytillus, from Salnés, Rías Baixas displays a greenish-yellow hue. Aromas of apple, pear and herbs present a direct and fresh character. This dry wine features malic tension, while lees-aging contributes a medium creaminess, creating a delicate and voluptuous texture. The interplay of acidity and texture highlights Salnés’ distinctive footprint. (Drink between 2025-2033)." 91 Points - Joaquin Hidalgo, Vinous
  • ABOUT THE WINE: Grapes are hand-picked and fermented in stainless steel tanks, followed by 4-6 months of lees aging, adding complexity and texture.
  • ABOUT THE PRODUCER: This small family owned winery covers two hectares of vines from some of the finest terroirs of Rías Baixas in Galicia. They began by growing grapes for personal use before producing their first vintage in 2010. In 2012, they partnered with winemakers Dominique Roujou de Boubée and Laura Montero, launching their first wines made exclusively from estate-grown grapes. By 2014, all vineyards were converted to organic farming.
